I started my career in the long-term care industry right after college. Throughout the years, I worked in various settings and positions where I've had daily opportunities to develop management skills that can be utilized across various corporate settings and industries. Whether managing the demands of employee recruitment and relations, training and development, operational oversight, management and leadership, or regulatory compliance, I firmly believe that a successful leader is built with compassion and heart. A leader is not defined by their title or position, but rather by serving others, leading by example, and elevating others to their fullest potentials. Over the past 15 years, I have been awarded with Bronze and Silver Quality Awards through American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL), and was named Administrator of the Year by the Oregon Health Care Association (OHCA) in 2019. I have also served as an Examiner for the AHCA/NCAL Quality Award Program and acted as a subject matter expert for the Health Care Authority (OHA) and the Health Licensing Office (HLO), reviewing survey reports and investigations, ultimately giving recommendations on final determinations in some of the most difficult cases.With DV Consults NW, I have decided to follow my passion - to open a consulting firm where I can use my knowledge, skills, and experience to help other communities with recruitment, regulatory compliance, business operations, and even achieve national awards and recognition.
