SD-WAN Specialist: Designed, configure, and maintain an SD-WAN mesh network using Silver Peak technologies. This has increased stability and performance by utilizing multiple low-cost DIA circuits instead of MPLS/VPLS connections.Network Operations: Deploy, configure and maintain network equipment from Palo Alto, Arista, Juniper, Aruba, Cisco, OpenGear, Brocade/Ruckus, AudioCodes, and others. I manage our wireless network with Aruba AirWave and Aruba Instant Access Points. In conjunction with our SecOps team, our team manages our Palo Alto Panorama servers and Next-Gen firewalls. This involves deploying new devices, creating policies, monitoring access, and enforcing a zone-based network.Integrating acquired offices and creating new locations is a normal day's work.Observing Change Management and documenting work is crucial for our agile company.

• Riverbed specialist: Was in charge of the Riverbed Wan Optimization infrastructure. Managed over 100 physical and virtual SteelHead appliances. Installed and managed SteelCentral Controller for SteelHead (SCC). Managed SteelCentral Controller for SteelHead Mobile (SMC). Managed in-path policies, mobile policies, appliance upgrades, and health monitoring.• SD-WAN deployment and management. Installed and managed Riverbed SteelConnect SD-WAN equipment for small branch offices.• During 2015-2017, worked to migrate over 100 newly acquired offices to the GHD network. Tasks included configuring and installing Cisco routers (mostly 4331) and Cisco switches (3750X, 3850X), including data and power stacking and Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers. Worked with XO Communications in providing PRI and MPLS connectivity. Would be on-site for offices of over 100 staff; remotely configured, shipped, and supported smaller offices.• Configured CUCM (Cisco Unified Communications Manager) and Cisco Unity Connection settings for each office. Planned and configured numbering schemes, programming Cisco VOIP phones (79xx, 88xx, side cars, etc), auto-attendants, translation tables. Documented provisioning steps for Level 1 and Level 2 support.• Provided Level 3 Data Communications support for Level 1 and Level 2 staff in North America and the Philippines. Every 7 weeks was on-call for global DataComms issues for 1 week at a time (over 200 offices, 8,500 staff, 135 countries).

• Hired, managed, and trained help desk staff. Managed vendor relationships, set standards and baselines for equipment and configurations.• Managed annual fleet computer upgrade, replacing 25% of end user laptops/desktops each year.• Microsoft Infrastructure: In 2001 installed HSA's first Active Directory domain (Windows 2000). Continued migrating it from version to version.• Installed the company’s first Exchange server (Exchange 2000). Migrated to Exchange 2003 and then Exchange 2010.• Beginning with VMware 3.5, migrated the company to a 100% virtual environment. Data center consisted of clustered ESXi servers managed with vCenter and EMC and Nimble iSCSI SANs. Branch offices had a single ESXi server with two VMs. Veeam was used for backups. Trained multiple personnel on provisioning branch office servers with HP and Cisco servers.• Created a DMVPN network using Cisco routers. Later migrated to SonicWALL NextGen edge and security devices. Provided seamless wireless access via AD policies and certs, and secure remote access via a web interface.• Created PowerShell scripts to automate new user/email provisioning, terminations, virtual machine management and other tasks and distributed to other staff.
