Hello, my name is David Zhang and I am a second-year Northeastern University student studying Computer Science and Physics. I am well versed with HTTP requests and developing REST APIs as well as using frontend frameworks like Tailwind and React. My most recent project is a linear algebra API made with Java, but I am expanding my knowledge of using Python frameworks and using mathematical programming in MATLAB. Through the physics portion of my major, I have great computational skills and mathematical reasoning. I am also able to model scenes and handle complex data using Python and I know how to handle Fourier transformations in mathematical programming languages. Through my activities with student organizations on campus, I have developed my ability to practice logging and documentation using JSON and YAML. I hope to be a software engineer one day and experience working collaboratively on a software project. I also aspire to experience a cybersecurity-focused job and apply my passion for cryptography.
