Current• Leading WOSM’s communications and partnerships strategy to enhance the profile and brand recognition of Scouting as the world’s leading educational youth movement of 57 million young people.• Led communications and digital marketing for the 42nd World Scout Conference event, held virtually for the first time in the Scout Movement’s 115-year history, which convened more than 1,500 leaders from National Scout Organizations in 172 countries. • Supported the redesign, redevelopment and launch of WOSM’s main website www.scout.org, including upgrades to front and backend content and technology.• Developed and implemented WOSM’s first crisis communications plan, emergency response team and training with executive leadership, while providing crisis communications advice and support to National Scout Organizations. • Coordinated communications for a large-scale donation appeal related to the Ukraine conflict, raising $700,000 in online donations through the Scout Donation Platform and in collaboration with the World Scout Foundation for humanitarian response efforts in the Region. • Oversaw internal and membership communications around the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Scout Movement.• Managed the writing, editing, design and production process for three public-facing annual reports, World Triennial Plan, Conference reports, donor reports, and other institutional publications for WOSM.• Managing a team of 8 communications staff in the Kuala Lumpur global headquarters, and coordinating with communications colleagues in 7 Regional Support Centres around the world.
