Oad Visiting Fellowship
CurrentAt the Office of Astronomy for Development, I lead the Astronomy for Mental Health flagship, an initiative dedicated to leveraging astronomy to promote mental health and well-being. My role involves exploring the interdisciplinary connections between psychology and astronomy, bringing mental health practices into the realm of astronomical outreach. I conduct thorough literature reviews and research, supporting both the flagship and the wider objectives of the OAD. Additionally, I provide insights from the social sciences, advising on the design and evaluation of surveys and other outreach activities. In collaboration with my colleagues, I contribute to various tasks to ensure the smooth execution of these programs.Previously, I served as a member of the National Organizing Committee for the International Astronomical Union's General Assembly 2024, playing a key role in supporting the successful coordination of this significant event.
