I am an award-winning clinical nutritionist and sciencepreneur working at the intersection of food security, digital health, and planetary health. My doctoral research, awarded a scholarship and three research prizes, focused on developing a peer support program for adults with metabolic syndrome, emphasizing nutrition and lifestyle behavior change.In my postdoctoral training, I have established a solid track record in designing, developing, and executing four clinical trials involving digital health devices, supplements, and longevity interventions across three healthcare clusters in Singapore. Currently, I serve as a Nutritional Intervention Research Fellow at the Academy for Healthy Longevity, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore which is the leading longevity research institute in Asia housed in one of the top 10 universities in the world.Beyond academia, I am an advisor and consultant at Adeante, an investment-linked company focused on agri-agrotechnology. My efforts in this domain include founding two biotechnology startups, securing a total of $1.5 million in seed capital, and maintaining a stable annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $500,000 for four consecutive years.Alongside my professional work, I am deeply engaged in climate advocacy and youth empowerment. I co-led the establishment of the U-INSPIRE Alliance, which mobilized over 1,000 youth and young professionals to drive innovation in climate resilience and disaster risk reduction. Together, we have documented 26 projects across 16 countries, addressing community resilience to tsunamis, flash floods, earthquakes, heatwaves, and other climate-related challenges. My work in this area has led to appointments as Governance Chair for the Youth UNESCO Climate Action Network, a Global Shaper at the World Economic Forum, and a Climate Reality Leader with Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project.
