Part of 8 month project in ASTICAN shipyard in Las Palmas, Spain, on semi-sub DP rig Stena Tay bought from Stena Drilling. Before handover, worked together with OOG Marine Leader and Operations Team as part of first marine crew to audit the rig for customer acceptance according to the contract and preparing documents for name and owner change. After handover from Stena to Odebrecht, working as DPO/BCO supervisioning shipyard repairs, commissioning and preparing rig for tow. Oversaw seatrials, Kongsberg systems upgrade and scaling, FMEA, incline test, draft survey and audits for statutory certificates. Worked as Ship Security Officer and responsible for security plan implementation. In Brazil, passed through Brazilian authorities audits and prepared for Petrobras pre-contract audits and customer acceptance.In Brazil, drilling operations carried out in Campos and Santos Basin.
