- Conducted fieldwork UCSB large restoration project to reverse damage in salinity for plants, ecosystems, and water; Databased aquatic macroinvertebrates to determine the health of freshwater.- Learned how to treat sampled tubes of filtered water for aquatic invertebrates and entered data analysis for future quantitative direct sources; Consistently measured the salinity of water samples collected.- Indexed microscopic macroinvertebrates in vials in different sources on Petri dishes, patiently counted anywhere from tens to thousands of copepods, amphipods, and larvae, and also identified algae bloom and invasive mud snails for intern lead projects.
