Desiree Vu-De Leon Email and Phone Number
I am a second-year undergraduate at UC Santa Barbara, double majoring in Environmental Studies (B.S) and Biopsychology (B.S). I currently focus on educational outreach and module development programs through SciTrek and practice graphic design at UCSB Vietnamese Student Association. Great community strives for a healthy environment: Access to green space, equality in social welfare, and a beneficial education system. When investment and effort are put into early education, this gives youth social exposure to leading happier balanced lives. Growing up surrounded by teachers who became my secondary parents, I am inspired to pursue lifelong learning and pass such positivity onto others. There is nothing more uplifting for me than to serve other people in need. In pursuit of interdisciplinary studies, I often notice that I learn the most from the peers I collaborate with and especially the students I teach. Although I do not know my future, I know I will never stop learning.
