As the Deloitte Federal Audit and Enterprise Risk Services Technology Risk Lead for several US Army and US Navy Security & Privacy service delivery teams, I was responsible for serving as a Program Manager - providing subject matter expertise, managing the sales pipeline, identifying and qualifying opportunities, contributing and leading proposal efforts in both prime and sub scenarios, managing staff and the customer relationship, driving talent acquisition and coordinating staffing requests. In this role, I led several engagements throughout their entire lifecycle, to include pursuit, capture, delivery, and follow-on work.I also maintained a solution focus on Security & Privacy services to help grow service offerings targeted for both the federal and commercial space. Managed several long-term FISMA and NIST compliance projects for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a Program Manager in charge of approximately 10 consultants providing information security expertise to the Wage & Investment (W&I) Division Security Program Management OfficeDuring this time, I was an instructor and course co-developer for several beginner and intermediate-level FISMA, C&A and Continuous Monitoring training courses for approximately 50 students each, ranging in duration from one to three-day coursesServed as the operational team lead for C&A strategy development and process improvement, analysis of over 80 systems for appropriate classification, consolidation and subordination, and responsible for C&A and Continuous Monitoring activities for these systemsImplemented the first IRS pilot of Risk Catalog – an integrated, risk-driven framework for defining, maintaining, evaluating and complying with risk and safeguard profiles for business systems and operationsLed a team that created a consistent, repeatable process for satisfying Continuous Monitoring requirements as mandated by FISMA. This process was eventually rolled out across the IRS enterprise, affecting over 300 systems. Due to the contribution of our team, the IRS W&I Division received the Commissioners Award for 2008.
