Served as Senior Engineer on the Frontier Duchess Drill Ship / Noble Duchess Drill Ship. Drilled two wells for NPDC in 400 ft. water depth in Nigeria. Subsea rig equipment responsibility included 18¾ Shaffer Type LWS BOP, Shaffer Wedge-Cover Dual Spherical, Vetco H-4 Connector, Vetco MR-6 Riser, Koomey Control Unit, Regan Diverter, Shaffer Drill String Compensator System, Western Gear Tensioner 80K, and Koomey Pods. Utilized Maisy Maintenance Program System for my daily and monthly PM maintenance.

As Subsea Senior Engineer-Nights, assigned to the Energy Searcher Drill Ship in Malaysia drilling for PETRONAS. Subsequently deployed to drill wells in Indonesia, the Philippines, Dubai, and Africa within a 3-year time frame. Subsea rig equipment responsibility included Hydril Annular, H-4 Connector, Shaffer LWS 18-3/4 BOP, Cameron RCK Riser, Cameron Control Unit, Regan Diverter & Support Ring, Vetco Motion Compensator, Shaffer Tensioner System 80K, and Koomey Pods. Utilized ABS Maintenance System for daily and monthly PM / Preventive Maintenance.

Promoted to Subsea Engineer-Nights (1997-1999) and later to Senior Subsea Engineer (1999-2005) on the Rowan Midland Semi Submersible in the Gulf of Mexico. Monitored and performed necessary repairs to all Subsea equipment doing WEST inspection. Subsea rig equipment responsibility included Hydril Annular, H-4 Connector on Wellhead, Cameron Collet Connector on LMRP, RCK Riser, Koomey Unit, Regan Diverter & Support Ring, Vetco Motion Compensator, Shaffer Tensioner System 80K, and Koomey Pods.
