About David Walker
I have over 15 years experience as a Town Planner in both Government and the private sector in Australia and the UK. From working on both the regulatory and applicant side I am able to offer sound advice to deliver solid planning solutions. I have extensive experience in Development Assessment, environmental approvals, strategic planning, including planning proposals, and interpretation and enforcement of Environmental Planning Instruments. I have experience in statutory planning for both public and private sectors giving me a high level of awareness and capability with a range of legislation and contacts within government assessment agencies at all levels.Over the course of my career I have worked on projects ranging from single dwelling and commercial applications through to strategic policy and planning. I enjoy managing projects to minimise conflicts and maximum outcomes to ensure the provision of high quality and effective outcomes for our clients.I am a Registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner through the Planning Institute of Australia and while working with Premise I have successfully lead projects in the renewables section, including gaining approvals for five state sigificant renewables projects in 2023.
