Review and assure compliance with all engineering-related safety codes, regulations and accrediting agencies as they apply to construction in healthcare facilities. Participate in developing and monitoring Quality Assurance for all construction projects.

Created interior design schemes, custom millwork designs, lighting themes for long-term care, medical office buildings and rural replacement hospitals in both Nebraska and Kansas. Coordinated HVAC and MEP with architectural and interior design drawings. Responsible for review of interior material submittals and shop drawings during construction administration.

A background in interior design and architectural project management provided the knowledge to excel in running all aspects of facility management projects from the proposal stage through building completion. Responsibilities included:·Prepare presentation materials (presentation boards, binders, etc.).·Participate in all programming meetings with Owner, architect/interior designer and/or principal-in-charge. ·Assure accuracy of order in relation to Owner’s intent.·Verify budget status with Owner.·Assist architect/interior designer with furniture material selections.·Prepare and review all orders before entry to determine special instructions to the manufacturer, completeness and accuracy of information and agreements, etc.·Prepare install plans.·Coordinate pre-installation meetings, documenting minutes, regularly checking construction status, field verify critical dimensions and supervise install.

Responsible for interior and architectural design including programming, space planning and furniture selection for collegiate team projects such as the John Paul Jones Arena at the University of Virginia and Hope College Arena. Professional team projects included the Charlotte Arena for the Charlotte Bobcats and Memphis Arena for the Memphis Grizzlies.

Duties consisted of programming, planning, design and construction documents as well as finish and furniture selection for the City of Gladstone, City of Lenexa, City of Merriam and City of Lee’s Summit. Interior design skills were also utilized for several corrections facilities and county and municipal court buildings. Additional projects included intensive programming for the General Services Administration in forecasting judicial growth for Kansas and Nebraska.

Responsible for assisting with interior and architectural design including finish selection, space planning and furniture selection for collegiate team projects such as Bautzen Stadium for the University of Oregon. Professional team projects included Quest Field for the Seattle Seahawks and the renovation to the Green Bay Packers Stadium. Created schematic and design documents for numerous interior renovations for the New Orleans Stadium restaurants and club spaces.
