As an economic mobility coach, I assess participants' situations, identify barriers to their success, and set long-term stability goals. I work closely with clients to overcome these obstacles through strategies like community resource navigation and connecting them to support networks. I'll also support free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) clinics from February to April. Service begins with orientation in Greenville and continues daily at individual host organizations, e.g. The Salvation Army of Greenville County.

The Philanthropy Chairman is responsible for planning and managing all philanthropic events hosted by the chapter. This includes small pop-up events, off-campus volunteering efforts, and our big yearly week-long event, The War of the Roses.

The treasurer is responsible for crafting a year-long budget and maintaining its health. The process includes learning how to create a financial model, going to Pi Kappa Phi college, communicating weekly with the rest of the fraternity, filing the 990 taxes, writing checks and managing the bank account, collecting money, and being a leading voice.

As an Undergraduate Extern I had the opportunity to shadow Mitigation Specialists and Initial Servicemen as well as do work with the office's Paralegal Team day-to-day. I also attended lectures run by legal teams within the office such as the Capital, Juvenile, and Sex Crimes teams. Other legal experiences included attending trials, settlement hearings, and sentencings.Finally, I was invited to attend classes at the Arizona Public Defenders Association's annual convention where Public Defenders from all over the state convene to educate each other in both legal, cultural, and workplace focused classes.

Acting as a co-leader for two 15 person classes during my week of classes. Helps facilitate class meetings and acts as a peer mentor to the 30 First-year students within my classes. Acts as a part of a cohort of 23 people who are all co-leading their own classes.

Conducting research into Rights and Liberties focusing primarily on the Political Philosophy behind each point of focus. I then write a report on the research I have conducted and it will be submitted to the Institute's Rights and Liberties database by the end of the year.
