I have experience for 25 years as Chief medical officer at 3 medical institutions at Saudia arabia: government hospital, private medical group and Khafji national hospital 100 bedded (multispecialty hospital), Saudi Arabia since May 1995, Quality improvement director since 2007.Organizational health surveyor since August 2007. I am experienced Ophthalmologist since 1988. I lead a team formed of medical director, quality improvement director, nursing director and administrator. The team is responsible for implementation of strategic plan of the hospital, provide customers with high quality cost effective, evidence based healthcare services. I am the legal medical representative of the hospital in front of local health authority. The chairperson of credentialing and privilege committee(interviewing ,hiring and evaluating medical staff) ,quality improvement and patient safety committee, medical record review committee, mortality and morbidity committee. I lead supply chain management and revenue cycle management with the help of finance team through an electronic information system (OASIS). I have a certificate of advanced performance management and analysis from joint commission international (JCI) USA.Certified hospital surveyor from the American institute of healthcare quality (JCI)2013.USA Certified health organizational surveyor by American gulf consulting USA 2007. Master degree in ophthalmology 1992 Cairo university, MBBCH 1987 Cairo university .Member of the American college of healthcare executives.
