For many of my childhood years crayons were simply something to mindlessly chew whilst watching cartoons but eventually the penny dropped and by the age of 11 I was a black-belt in Transformer drawing (don't mention the films) and at 15 I was a 2nd Dan in Judge Dredd (as previous but with more vigour and pleading).Through higher education and then employment in graphic design it was always my drawing and illustration that stood out and eventually it, you know, just became my thing .I still remember my first illustration commissions - not in a good way but in a waking up soaked in cold sweat and gripping the bed covers, yelling "God, No!" kinda way. I've learnt a lot since those first tentative efforts many years ago. I've been lucky enough to work on many and varied commissions and still get a great thrill at the challenge of a new subject to understand and empathise with.
