The core responsibility of the Director of Business Development involves identifying and developing new business opportunities and building and expanding the presence of the company and it's brand.Some of the key responsibilities are:• Building and maintaining solid relationships with clients and associates • Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.• Implementing strategies for company growth and business development• Assessing marketing and sales strategies and recommending improvements as needed.• Preparing all documentation required for requests for proposals (RFPs).• Communicating and following up with client to ensure satisfaction • Developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow business.• Implementing HRIS/ATS software to manage applicant files and client profiles• Keeping up to date with ESA, MOL, WSIB, and all government policies to ensure full compliance

The Director of Business Development provides leadership in new client development and current partnership management: providing guidance and leadership to sales staff; while continually striving for sales development opportunities.• Develop and implement strategic plan to achieve corporate objectives for business expansion• Consult with client managers/supervisors and provide market guidance and advice, including guidance and interpretation of employment policies and practices; wage and retention; health and safety• Provide highly responsive service partnership to current clients by responding to staffing related inquires, anticipating service needs and ensuring service levels and needs are met.• Provide leadership and training to sales team.• Assist with recruiting of new staff, including account managers, consultants and junior consultants

• Ensure the company operations flow smoothly and economically • Provide leadership in business operations • Make sure offices are equipped with the tools and resources to be successful• Establish policies and guidelines for internal staff to follow • Lead and monitor sales development for all locations• Work closely with President to plan and organize for business development• Review contracts and act as a signing officer on client and employee related contracts and agreements • Review and monitor aging and credit limits to ensure growth of client

- Manage the day to day operations- Ensure that staff has the roles required to succeed- Providing leadership and training to Consultants - Review and sign off on all client and staff contracts- Work with President on annually objectives and plan accordingly - Negotiate client rates

- Register and interview all new applicants and provide orientations as needed- Conduct onsite orientations at various client sites- Report and document employee incidents - Conduct employee payroll- Recruit and select candidates for various industrial and office roles
