Technician in Driver Productivity/Vehicle productivity. Perform vehicle tests in Ride, handling, vibration, noise, and fuel economy.

I work in the Engineering Dept. in the Reliability and Durability Test lab. We test full cab shakers down to single component rigs. I instrument trucks for Data Acquisition for test rigs and damage calculations. I install strain gages, force transducers, string potentiometers ,accelerometers, thermo couples. I also install drivetrain, body in white, and chassis on test rigs and trucks. I work with customers and our dealerships during field DAQ at their sites.

I started at Penske as a Service Mechanic and during my tenure there I progressed to an Assistant Service Manager. Scheduling work for the shop and working directly with the customers to make sure that all work was completed in a timely manner. I also scheduled all Mechanics workshop tasks for the day.
