With over 20 years of work experience in finance and accounting, I am a seasoned and versatile finance leader who can deliver value and insights to any organization. I recently served as the Director of Finance at ASM Global, the world's leading venue management and services company, where I oversaw the financial operations and reporting of over 300 venues across five continents. I managed a team of 15 finance professionals, and was responsible for budgeting, forecasting, auditing, compliance, and risk management. I also partnered with senior executives and stakeholders to provide strategic guidance and support for business decisions and growth initiatives. Prior to that, I was the Financial Controller at Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services, a subsidiary of Compass Group, the largest foodservice company in the world. I handled the financial planning and analysis, accounting, and tax functions for 40 university campuses in the Southeast region, and helped secure and maintain several large contracts with prestigious institutions. In addition to my corporate roles, I have been running my own tax and accounting consultancy business since 2010, serving clients in various industries and sectors. I have a Master of Business Administration degree from Montreat College, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Francis Marion University. I possess strong skills in financial accounting, account reconciliation, and finance, as well as domain expertise in tax and accounting. I am passionate about creating value, driving performance, and optimizing efficiency in the finance function, and I am always eager to learn and grow.
