• Provide for the health, welfare and safety of 8 MC4 personnel assigned to teams in the Afghanistan, CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) • Accomplish the MC4 Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Class VIII mission by:• Concentrating on key program deliverables• Fostering team cohesiveness and communication• Maintaining standard processes with a high attention to detail• Facilitating customer communication by keeping in contact with local commands• Acting as liaison with MC4 PD and local commands• Manage program and corporate-related administrative and reporting functions for all MC4 personnel in country, including:• Personnel accountability• Life support• Facility Maintenance• Vehicle procurement/maintenance• Asset Management

• Establishes and maintains user accounts, assigns file permissions and establishes password and account policies; installs, upgrades, configures, tests, maintains and supports operating system software in a production environment. • Troubleshoots and resolves system hardware, software and communications problems; perform configurations and adjustments to enhance database file capacity; performs automated and manual and daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.• Performs daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.• Reviews performance logs and monitors system performance.• Performs regular file archival and purge as necessary.• Creates, changes, and deletes user accounts per request.

• Provides hardware and software repair, replacement, troubleshoot, and installation for WIN-T • Performs quarterly Information Assurance. Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) updates.• Over-The-Shoulder training, technical support and assistance for WIN-T to customers.• Performs troubleshooting, accomplishing minor repairs, removing and replacing WIN-T systems and subsystems for Unit Hub Node, Regional Hub Node, Single Shelter Switch, Joint Network Nodes Battalion Command Post Nodes, Network Operations, Satellite Transportable Terminals (STTs).• Submit Engineering Change Proposal (ECPs), and troubleshoot system hardware and software.

• Serves as equipment specialist for the Tactical Operations Center (TOC), for all systems located in the assigned region.• Provides on-site technical and maintenance assistance, analyzes complex technical problems, and provides training to site operations and maintenance personnel.• Provide necessary training and maintenance assistance on individual equipment, and/or subsystems as various radio equipment configurations, computer systems to include processors, servers, and routers.• Conducts the analysis of Provides maintenance and supply support to all Standard Integrated Command Post System (SICPS) platforms under test and fielded to units.• Primary power systems, power and data cabling, environmental control systems (ECU's) environmental protection systems (EPS), interfaces of communications/computer equipment and ground procedures.
