Responsible for performing general facility upkeep and maintenance to building, grounds, and equipment and working with contractors/vendors for the preventative maintenance of property and equipment. Troubleshooting of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and equipment problems.Responsibilities:• Complete general upkeep and maintenance functions of the property including: general cleaning, building maintenance, painting, general carpentry, power washing, taxidermy cleaning, and property and landscape management including lawn cutting, snow shoveling• Assist in the scheduling and performance of preventative maintenance of systems and equipment including fire inspection and HVAC preventative maintenance• Monitor Johnson Controls HVAC programming for Canadian locations and report any discrepancies to store managers• Identify corrective action including general repairs of mechanical equipment, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and common building equipment• Repair and complete various tasks to grounds and building using various machines and tools• Work with cleaning staff to ensure the building meets all standards• Track utility billing and usage and input into records• Liaise with contractors and local building authority• Assist with shipping and receiving when required• Assist building related projects and communicate building related functions to business partners• Part of Health and Safety committee• Certificate of Achievement in WHMIS with GHS • Forklift operation• Other duties as assigned
