Operations Technician
Current• Process air movement of Chief of Mission Personnel and affiliates of the U.S. Embassy, approximately 600 monthly to varies Department of State authorized landing zones • Responsible for manifesting passengers for air movements to authorized Department of State landing zones• Provides mandatory safety briefing to all passengers, ensuring they are equipped with proper attire to include hearing protection• Responsible for inputting correct flight data, to capture all passengers moved to include the weight of baggage and cargo• Ensures passengers are directed to the correct gate for their scheduled flight• Monitors movement of all aircraft on Blue Sky Aviation Network• Responsible for checking weather updates prior to scheduled movements• Selected over six colleagues to train three new employees within six month period• Developed an airfield license training program for employees; successfully licensing more than 15 employees in a 3 month period, meeting U.S. Air Force standards
