Responsible for Supply Chain Organization (Inventory, Logistics, Customer Service, Capital Expenditures & Real Estate) of $650+ million district with 19 locations.** Supervise Managers, Customer Service, Zone Managers, and district staff. Set performance goals for each, tailored to the specific needs of the district or branch. Monitor achievement of goals and provide performance feedback on a regular basis. Conduct annual performance reviews. Set goals for the service organization that align with district business goals. ** Assist District Vice President in compiling district business plans and annual budget. Implement all service initiatives detailed in the business plans and manage service expense budget to ensure unit profitability while striving to achieve budgeted operating ratio and service metrics for the service group. ** Assist Corporate personnel in planning for approval of new locations and negotiating for property or facilities for new locations. With assistance from the District Warehouse Manager and Assistant Director Operations, direct building maintenance, construction projects, counter remodels, and building moves as required. ** Responsible through Director Human Resources for hiring of service and administrative personnel. Recommend promotion, transfer, salary revisions and addition to staff for service/administrative employees. Develop personnel Succession Plan for district. ** Responsible, through Manager Customer Service and Service Center / Zone Manager for prompt shipment of customer orders, efficient warehousing operations, and promptly and effectively addressing service non-conformances and customer service concerns.
