About Dwayne Scholtz

I graduated from the University of the Free State with the following qualifications: B.A Human Movement Science (2005), B.A Honours in Sport Science (2006), B.A General Management (2006) and B.A Honours General Management (2008). Prior to my current position I was assigned as a junior lecturer by the Central University of Technology within the Sport Management department. Since joining IQVIA in 2008, I have gained experience as a Data Operations Coordinator, Data Team and CEVA Lead on global phase I – III trials in various therapeutic areas. I additionally served in a dual role from the above mentioned as Training and Skill Development Specialist including identifying and assess skill & knowledge gaps, creating and designing course content, presentations, job manuals and other materials and developing new methods and ideas to facilitate future trainings. I then moved over as a Manager for a team of Project Management Analysists (PMA), where I managed, supervised and supported the Project Management staff. I recently acted within the Strategic Planning & Business Performance group where my primary responsibilities included, but were not limited to Sox Control owner for PL to liaise with finance, ops, PWC, and work with Functional EAC Leads to help establish autonomous SOX governance/control, training and educating EAC financials and modelling to PLs/PMA and other leads. I am currently working in the Project Leadership, Strategic Planning & Business Performance Team as a Business Performance Lead. I have outstanding computer literacy skills and have attended multiple workshops to further develop my communication and managerial skills and knowledge. I have a winning attitude and work well with others in a group. I am very approachable and easy to talk too.
