Formed DS Automation Ltd to provide Control System Engineering support for Honeywell DCS and Safety Systems.Between Oct 2007 and Oct 2012, I have contracted to Honeywell HPS NZ at the following sites;Norske Skog Paper Mill, Carter Holt Harvey Paper Mill, Westland Milk Products, Fonterra Te Awamutu, Liquigas Depots - Auckland, New Plymouth and Dunedin, Methanex Waitara Valley Plant, Winstone Pulp International, Maari Oil Field, New Zealand Refining Company, Mobil Seaview and H G Leach Paeroa.Between Oct 2012 and Nov 2014, I have contracted to Engineering Control Limited at the Methanex Waitara Valley Plant for the restart project and ongoing support.

My role involved Project Management, Installation and Configuration of Honeywell hardware and software, Engineering and commissioning of control systems onshore and offshore, training customers to use and support their Honeywell control systems, Overseas project support and New Zealand representative on the Pacific HMI Excellence Engineering Team.

Employed as a Control Room Panel Operator and trained to operate Distillation, Reformer, Compression, Utilities and Pipeline areas, both inside the control room and outside on the plant.My responsibilities included Permit to work issuing, Procedure development and training manuals, Site Chief/Emergency Controller during incidents, on shift Industrial Medic and Plant Electrical and Control Systems trainer for the operations department.Operations representative on the Honeywell TDC2000/3000 to Experion PKS upgrade project.

Working with PLC's, analytical instrumentation, Foxboro and Honeywell DCS, motors and motor control circuits, valves, pneumatics and plant HV power systems.
