Oversaw the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy department, which encompassed managing and participating in the clinical and technical functions within the department. Accomplishments:• Promoted to Chief Operating Officer in May 2010 and given oversight over the following areas: Marketing, Materials Management, and Pharmacy• Developed and implemented marketing strategy for organization to increase patient admits• Reduced pharmacy inventory cost by $25,000/month by reorganizing the medication inventory system and medication ordering process which resulted in a pharmacy spend savings of over $300k for the 2009 calendar year • Successfully lead the pharmacy department through the JCAHO survey in 2009

Served as Director of Pharmacy for LSU Medical Center at New Orleans which comprised of Charity and University Hospitals and two outpatient pharmacies. Post-Katrina I oversaw the rebuilding of pharmacy services for New Orleans which including the reopening of University Hospital and Outpatient Pharmacy Service. Prior to leaving LSU, I helped the architects and consultants complete the design and workflow for the Pharmacy Department in the proposed future LSU Hospital in New Orleans.
