My current employment goal is to transition into a long and fulfilling offshore drilling career. After ten years on the same rig/crew, in the Alberta oilfield, I feel a change is required. The last three years I have been responsible for my own crew, as Driller. I feel the skills I have procured would be an asset. In addition to my quality work ethics, aptitude, team work, and communication skills, I am most prided by my safety record. In my ten year career in the oilfield I have a blemish free safety record, with no recorded injuries, or incidents. My safety mentality is one of my greatest attributes and I carry it with me always on and away from the work site. I am a Red Seal Certified Rig Technician Journeymen and hold a Firstline Well control ticket. I have also completed the Basic survival Training (BST) course as of June.5 2015.
