Food Service Group Leader
Current• Play a pivotal role in the execution of servicing approximately 750 patient meals and 800 retail ticket meals daily. • Lead, coordinate, and support team members in food preparation, retail operations, patient tray setup and delivery, dishwashing machine operations, and maintaining food service area sanitation.• Assign tasks to team members, overseeing their work and providing clear technical guidance to accomplish goals.• Ensure seamless opening and closing of food service operations, adhering to established department guidelines.• Demonstrate knowledge in infection control, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines, maintaining safety standards in food service.• Investigate and address complaints and operational issues, proposing valuable procedural enhancements.• Contribute to achieving patient and customer satisfaction goals through the delivery of top-quality service.• Showcase proficiency in planning and preparing modified and restrictive diets while considering menu diversity.• Exemplify and educate staff on safety techniques in accordance with departmental policies and protocols.• Maintain operational readiness of department equipment by promptly reporting necessary repairs with maintenance.• Operate cash registers adeptly and efficiently, managing cafeteria cash drawer closures as required.
