Served as interim Athletic Director (AD) of a Division I institution with direct supervision and oversight of 17 athletic programs and the student athletes.Highlights:• Provided stability and leadership to the athletics program• Implemented game day parking directives providing more efficient ingress and egress on campus • Facilitated contract negotiations between ASU and King’s Daughters Sports Medicine• Obtained medical insurance coverage for the athletic programs ensuring the student- athletes are adequately protected• Project oversight of major renovations of athletic facilities, including a newly refurbished weight room and modernized office space• Reinstituted the Indoor Track and Field program• Created a comprehensive tutorial, study hall program in the Whitney Complex• Instrumental in attaining and hiring additional support for the student-athletes by increasing the number of Athletic Trainers, and Strength & Conditioning Coaches• Played a major role in returning the “Soul Bowl” (ASU v. Jackson State University) football game back to ASU’s campus
