Over the course of 6 months, I'm rotating between the 3 departments of Channel 4's marketing operation. I'll spend 2 months in each of the following departments:- 4Studio: In C4's new social media arm I'll be building strategic and creative direction to make original and branded content for social channels targeting young audiences.- 4Creative: I'll be within the in house agency responsible for all C4 ads and communications, learning the process of building ideas and making creative for TV advertising C4's shows.- Creative Hub: At C4's answer to a traditional creative agency and using my strengths in copywriting, I'll be responding to briefs from brands that want to utilise C4's values as the driver for their communications.

I have a huge passion for the UK's black music scene. The aim of my writing is to cover this space with the depth and detail that they deserve, and by extension to track and document the ebb and flow of the culture as it continues to evolve. Working on the Cancer Research UK account, I supported the Account team on liaising the CRUK client, the in house production and creative teams.

I hosted the Early Get Up show on Westside Radio once a week and occasionally hosted the Saturday midday show.

I enroled in the Media Trust: Creativity Works progamme aimed at upskilling young people headed towards a career in the creative industry via 2 intensive 10 week spells of:- Masterclasses- Employability training- 1 to 1 mentoring with an industry professional- Workshops and practical tasks/trainingEach session was led by a professional from a particular industry within media such as Journalsim, Radio, Marketing etc. As well as helping me develop hard skills, the programme served as a catalyst for creativity and confidence.
