• Provided input on planning the migration of multiple servers and over 1000 users from a Novell 4.x environment to a Windows 2000 Active Directory environment. • Developed and implemented the Active Directory schema for the respective buildings and departments to reflect the organizational as well as geographic makeup of the facilities.• Designed a complete disaster recovery plan including necessary hardware, server configuration and end user data policies. • Ensured a minimal amount of disruption to end users through scheduling with department heads and after hour migrations. • Designed and implemented a documentation system that facilitated bookkeeping and an effective means to track the progress of the project.

• Responsible for capacity planning, upgrades, recommendations, design and implementation of a Unix/Windows 2000 Active Directory network and its connectivity. • Determined the most efficient Active Directory schema and then wrote a web based interface using ADSI & VB scripting that was able to add and delete users to a specific Organizational Unit, as well as create email accounts. • Developed disaster recovery plan using Veritas Backup Exec 8.5 • Designed a fully functional intranet page using IIS, from which users could access and install printers, access Exchange 2000 web folders and other necessary applications. • Assigned Group policies in Active Directory to script, and publish software for different Organizational Units. • Managed all domain names for the company and all associated DNS entries. • Installed and configured SQL 7 and SQL 2000 Databases as well as established a data recovery plan for the Databases involved. • Planned and managed an Exchange 2000 environment through installing, configuring, and supporting Exchange servers and clients, managing recipients, implementing public folders and Outlook Web Access.

Worked on the Boys and Girls Club Windows 2000 Technology Center Roll out, Oversaw all aspects of both branch and non-branch deployment of over 5000 Compaq servers and desktops, responsible for troubleshooting physical layer connectivity issues and organization of the wiring closets, performed site surveys, specified the location of frame relay circuits, planned and developed deployment logistics (hardware shipping, staffing requirements and scheduling).
