Provide oversight of Compass’s partnerships with 5 nonprofit & 1 for-profit multifamily owners with launching & managing the HUD Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) at over 65 locations across 16 states & DC for over 850 clients. Lead a team of 15, with 2 Program Managers & 3 Coaching Managers as direct reports, in ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved in effective program management & high quality financial coaching. Support the Chief Program Officer (CPO) in cultivating relationships & business development with potential multifamily housing partners to expand FSS. Serve as a lead with exploring new, scalable asset-building pathways & initiating an opt-out pilot of FSS with 2 multifamily owners & 1 public housing authority (PHA). Collaborate with & serve as a thought partner to other directors within the Programs Department & across other departments to coordinate work functions. Provide data & insight into multifamily operations to inform policy advocacy to expand FSS opportunities within the multifamily market. Manage a budget of $2,500,000 for the Multifamily team. Manage multiple projects concurrently across teams within the Programs Department and with other departments (in particular, Strategy) and ensure adequate change practices are applied in the successful completion of the projects. Supervised a team of 4 financial coaches to ensure the team provides high quality service to clients and meets key performance metrics while at the same time fulfilling duties as a financial coach and related tasks in support of Compass's organizational objectives, as noted in prior roles. Supported special initiatives to enhance of the quality of program & coaching services for FSS clients. Served as the Interim Director of Programs, Multifamily by leading 2 Program Managers & a Client Outreach & Engagement Specialist to achieve program goals for the Multifamily team during the leave of absence & special project focus of the then Director while also fulfilling current duties & supervision as a Financial Coaching Manager. Provided peer management support to fellow financial coaching managers to ensure high performance & great service delivery from financial coaches. Oversaw the quality of financial coaching for participants of the Remote Service Pilot (RSP). Completed additional duties of an FSS Coordinator in enrollment, escrow management, & HUD compliance.

Provided ongoing, customized financial coaching & guidance to help clients enrolled in the HUD Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program set & achieve goals in the areas of earned income growth, credit & debt management, saving & investing, use of high quality financial services, risk management, and wealth building; delivered core elements of a financial plan to program participants in a manner that suits their needs, and assisted those clients to successfully interact with financial institutions & service providers. Provide consulting & organizing services for social & economic mobility initiatives with non-profits, coalitions, government agencies & departments. Provide meeting facilitation, community organizing & strategy, small business consultation, & additional resource support to historically excluded & oppressed people in their advocacy for racial & economic freedom.
