As the director of the children and youth ministry i coordinate the lesson plans and leaders to keep a Christ minded, biblical focus with the children of all ages while keeping the learning fun and engaging. This includes coordinating the volunteers in the nursery to promote an environment that makes our parents feel safe and comfortable when leaving their youngest children in the churches care.Although i sometimes work with all ages of children in lessons my focus teaching is with the teens, writing and teaching lessons and coordinating extra fellowship activities to allow them to create friendships with other Christ minded teens and give them guidance as they face worldly situations and struggles.Additional duties include organizing various Sunday serving ministries and training stand out volunteers to become efficient leaders within the church volunteer team. I also advise various other church ministries to keep them excited about serving and finding ways through obstacles that may arise.As needed i use my artistic and graphic design talents to create promotional flyers and a children's-parent connection newspaper to allow the parents to bring each weeks lesson into the home.
