As DC Rack Analyst Manager, I now oversee the efficient storage use of all our Distribution Centers. I work on site and remotely with our satellite warehouses to ensure their staff follows our storage standards, as well as identifying product moves inter and intra facility to maintain efficient storage utilization.In this role I leverage my experience with warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics to implement new and refine current storage optimization strategies. I work closely with cross-functional teams, including our receiving department, supply chain and logistics department, and our support departments to ensure smooth warehouse storage operations.My goal is to increase warehouse storage utilization and reduce wasted space for all of City Furniture's Distribtuion Centers.

As the DC Rack Analyst Supervisor, I analyzed and optimized the use of rack storage space in our Tamarac Distribution Center. I worked with our operations department to identify areas where storage space was underutilized or over capacity, and developed action plans to increase utilization or reduce overages. I utilized Power Query in Microsoft Excel with data from our Analytics Data Warehouse to create live utilization reports for our warehouse management teams. This allowed our staff to rapidly address deviations to our storage standards in minutes instead of hours to download large datasets into excel without overloading the program. Power Query has been instrumental in this role and has been applied to streamline and automate many other procedures including audit generation.

As the QA Supervisor, I oversaw a team of QA Associates to ensure the all products leaving our facility met the highest standards of quality. I developed and implemented quality control and inspection processes used to address any quality issues as well as shorten the lead time to investigate issues from the time they were reported.I also led a team of associates whose job it was to assemble and inspect any new product before our merchandising department committed to an inventory purchase. Their feedback was instrumental in addressing quality, assembly, and packaging issues with our vendors. This team also prepared all furniture to be shot by our photography department for print and digital media.

Standardized the Parts Supply Chain communication process including the creation of new Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), email templates, and visual controls to increase our internal and external customer part order shipment information availability.Converted our shop parts request forms from an analogue paper and pencil process to an all digital system with Excel VBA eliminating transcription errors.Several error checking functions were also added to the system to prevent incorrect orders from being passed on through the value stream.Directed problem solving group to develop an online tracking database for all over sized customer part orders throughout the City Furniture showroom footprint in Florida. Utilizing Google Apps Script, HTML, and JavaScript, a website/database is now used to track the location of all parts, their pickup status, as well as provide metrics used to gauge Third Party Repair Service performance.
