• Responsibilities: Establish, grow, and oversee the sales and marketing efforts of a privately owned, custom equipment engineering company. Member of executive team reporting directly to the owners, and meeting quarterly to set long-term plans, establish near-term goals, and drive short term projects in support of strategic objectives.• Scope: Guide the development of concepts, pricing, delivery, and account relationships. Execute negotiations, and corporate agreements as necessary to secure orders from target customers in North America. The orders ranged in size from $100K to $2.5M to support run rate of more than $1M in orders each month.

• Responsibilities: Marketing, product management, and project management for closed-loop extrusion gauging and controllers. Managed development/support staff of 3-10 team members, depending on the current program requirements, for PC based and embedded control and applications.• Scope: Guide development, costing, schedule, launch, life-cycle of multiple controller product offerings which encompassed 30% of the company’s $35M annual revenue. World-wide customer base on six continents.

• Responsibilities: Responsible to grow, train, and supervise staff in order to shape entire department while working with major semiconductor manufacturers. Directing the design, development, and debug activities of a twenty-three person controls engineering, software engineering, and information product development group in the custom automation equipment industry. Provide direct input to executive management for strategic development of department/company.• Scope: Travel extensively with sales force as the engineering expert to present our engineering capabilities to new and existing customers. Work closely with application engineering to develop software and controls engineering proposals ranging in price from $50,000-$1,000,000 in engineering development. Supported installation and customer interaction internationally (Mexico, China, Ireland) and domestically.

• Responsibilities: Worked closely with the customer and internal staff to develop programs and routines to measure complex part features for coordinate measuring machine (CMM) applications.• Scope: Directly involved with coordination of sophisticated contracts ranging in value from $55,000-$11,000,000. Primary customer contact from project inception to completion.

Develop mark up language and document definitions for the Air Force technical manuals program out of the CALS office.
