2nd year Ph.D. candidate in CSE at the University of North Texas, dedicated to advancing the field of Autonomous Vehicles. My research focuses on Computer Vision, Object Detection, Registration, and SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping). I have contributed to various impactful projects; including the SuperTruck3 project with PACCAR to apply my expertise to revolutionize the trucking industry, the Connected Autonomous Vehicle Lab which we developed the Polaris Autonomous Vehicle, and the CIIMS Research Center where I assist develop the F1TENTH Vehicle System at UNT.Beyond my academic pursuits, I am deeply devoted to my Catholic faith, which guides my morals, values, and purpose. Additionally, I serve as the Graduate Representative for the UNT Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) for the second consecutive year, along with, being engaged with the College of Engineering at UNT. From my active involvement at UNT, I am committed to fostering a vibrant community, and a supportive academic environment, and promoting opportunities for fellow students to increase engagement.Through my multifaceted contributions in research, faith, industry collaboration, and student leadership, I am driven to make a meaningful impact in the field of Autonomous Vehicles and inspire others to pursue their passions in computer engineering.
