Dan's started Partner2Learn with several other individuals to drive the creation and implementation of our POISED(R) strategic planning process. Dan has worked on multiple client engagements through the process implementation.Dan is the visionary responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company while responsible for process automation, vendor & contractor selection and oversight, talent acquisition, the partnership program, and business development. This also includes creating and implementing the roadmap of the Partner2Learn web tool and app as we develop our SaaS model.His analytical, strategic, and ideation strengths provide a solid foundation for finding solutions that reduce waste and encourage energy management for Partner2Learn and their clients. Dan had the opportunity to acquire a start-up company, which allowed him to gain significant experience as an entrepreneur running all aspects of a small business from commercial banking and real estate financing to client acquisition and market development to double the customer base. However, after much consideration, Dan decided to sell the company to focus on growing Partner2Learn and exploring other exciting opportunities.

Dan's passion for uncovering opportunities led him to become a cross-department technology consultant to the Baird Human Resources, IT, Public Finance, Marketing, and Private Wealth Management (PWM) teams to create tools to save time and increase accuracy.Dan frequently mentored department subject matter experts on best practices and opportunities for additional process improvement as a way for others to grow and implement new improvements on their own.Throughout his time in as a Tech Lead his focus was finding ways to automate recurring tasks which resulted in annual savings of over 10,000 hours in 2018 and going forward. When consulting for Baird Public Finance, Dan created SQL databases to manage their data using Power BI and Excel VBA to automate the data ingestion of their school budget model and created an automated distribution process saving hundreds of hours annually with high accuracy.

As the strategic leader and partner with the COO and department director, Dan served and mentored a team of 20+ associates responsible for managed account opening, maintenance, and performance reporting. Dan saw the value of his department as a feeder for strong individuals to grow their skills and be transitioned to other area's within Baird to make a stronger organization. As such, he took the time to meet and ensure their personal growth was supported while benefiting their current team as they learned the skills to get to their next career step.While in this role Dan grew his skills in data analysis, dashboard creation, and metrics for senior management regarding resource allocation, forecasting of report production and department project work.
