Member of team on the migration of Muller’s acquisition of Dairy Crest’s Milk & More business.• Surveyed of 59 depots spread throughout the country, as part of a team of four.• Local contact for installations MPLS and ADSL connections from BT Openreach. Dealt with issues between suppliers and depot management.• Installed new kit at Depots, including Cisco Meraki switches, security appliances and access points, plus Dell Wyse terminals and Sharp printers. Removed all old kit ready for WEEE disposal.• Built new laptops and PCs with Windows 7 and Office 2010 using SCCM images.• Setup new user accounts and trained users in the use of the new systems.

Realigned and drove delivery of large centralised UK VOIP project (Avaya Blue VoIP Telephony solution over Cisco based WAN/LAN). Project was behind schedule, technically not fit for purpose and significantly over budget prior to my involvement, subsequently brought up to date and rolled out throughout the UK.• Successfully rolled out phone system to 15 new sites including three managed call centres at the UK Head Office, tying in Genesis call management system based in Denmark.• Installed and configured new Cisco switches and routers.• Setup a centralised switchboard system with multiple IVR menu options for each site.• Setup Call Pilot voicemail system Voicemail & Voice menu systems.• Managed transformation of newly acquired sites to established standards, including all voice and network systems.

Working to ITIL standards; a key role in the maintenance of vital SCCM environments for key IBM customers and accounts including Diageo, Astra Zeneca, Bank of Ireland, Carphone Warehouse and DEFRA.• Ran project to upgrade the SMS 2003 environment to SCCM 2007 across 80 sites for Diageo and performed a server hardware refresh for over 150 sites on Astra Zeneca’s SMS 2003 global environment.• Oversaw key projects including roll out of SCCM 2007 to 50,000 workstations worldwide for ABB Group, Zurich.• Provision of third line support of SMS 2003 on Astra Zeneca account.• Comprehensive third line support of SCCM 2007 on major accounts including Bank of Ireland, Carphone Warehouse and Diageo and DEFRA, which involved passing a government security check.• Effective maintenance of MS SQL 2000 & 2005 databases for SMS/SCCM.• Script development in VBScript and PowerShell to automate AD, SQL and SCCM administration tasks saving over 25 man hours per month.• Maintaining NetIQ AppManager 7.01 servers, including developing new monitoring scripts.
