Dane Henry is the Advocacy, Training, and Technology Attorney at Legal Aid of West Virginia. Prior to entering that role in 2019, he was a Staff Attorney working on a Victims of Crime Act grant from the WV Department of Justice. Dane also served a four-year tenure on the West Virginia State Bar Young Lawyers Section’s Technology Committee. At LAWV, Dane focuses on creating resources to allow pro se litigants greater access to the courts through accessible technology.Prior to entering the legal field, Dane worked as the IT Generalist for Dickinson Law and a large-scale System Administrator under contract with the United States Coast Guard. He received his bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Science from Shepherd University in 2008 and his J.D. from the Pennsylvania State University’s Dickinson School of Law in 2014.
