Support 36 sites and 5 data centers. Responsibilities include support of 350 desktops and laptops, running XP, Office XP and over fifty 2003 servers. Supported software: Command Alkon, JWS, Citrix, JD Edwards, Client Access, Exchange, VPN, N-Fuse, all MS Office products. Responsible for all hardware, wiring, switches, routers, wireless bridges, antennas, UPS, racks, printers, bar code, RF, time clocks, inventory and documentation. Adhere to all SOX requirements. Project manager for all IT projects in SW and provide support for all global projects. Respond to all Help Desk tickets in the West. Provide documentation for IT operations. Supervise 2 employees and 25 contractors. • Implemented and trained 250 users for a new software conversion in 35 locations, Command Data Concrete and Ticketing software. Prepared servers running 2000 Server and three Citrix Servers. Designed and implemented a frame relay network to connect all sites to new data center. Set up wireless antennas and bridges for site communications at 23 plants.• Led a team to plan and perform plant improvements for 30 sites. Improvements included: new lock box type racks, with router, PDU, UPS, and lightening arrestors. Planned and upgraded data centers, with new UPS, ventilation system, AC, racks, cable management.
