I have been an administrator in three public schools in Alberta, Iron Ridge Elementary Campus, Rimbey Elementary School and Neerlandia Public Christian School. After completing my sixth year principalship at Iron Ridge Elementary Campus in Blackfalds, Alberta I decided to semi retire. Following my retirement I subbed for a little more than a year. I was then appointed to a Citizen’s Appeal Panel for Community and Social Services. I served on this Panel for five years. The following quote (author unknown to me) would summarize my professional and personal character: Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become your words. Keep your words positive because your words become your actions. Keep your actions positive because your actions become your beliefs.
