I spent 9 years in the military and reserves beginning as a maintenance crew chief on jets in the Air Force and then switching to Security Police and working as a base defense instructor and trainer and a combat arms instructor. During my reserve time I also worked as a retail store manager in the jewelry industry. After graduating from college I began teaching in business and marketing education positions and received my NC teaching credentials for both programs of study. I followed that with a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration. After 9 years in education I decided to pursue a more financially lucrative career in real estate. I spent 8 years in general brokerage real estate, with a focus on seller representation and new construction sales. I opened a general brokerage office and lead a team for 5 years before accepting a offer as a sales manager for a highly reputable local builder, whom I had represented for 6 previous years in two different neighborhoods. I have received professional recognition and a variety of awards, in every career field I have been involved with, mainly due to work ethic, dedication, performance, and character. I have a broad array of experience, but the focus is always teaching, training, and leading others to be high performers.
