Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) – Greenbelt Test Track Project, Greenbelt, MD: $65M design-build project which includes the construction of new facilities which enable WMATA to accomplish acceptance testing and commissioning of the new 7000-series rail cars. The construction consists of the installation of approximately 10,000 linear feet of test track within the existing WMATA Green Line right-of-way (ROW) between the Greenbelt and College Park Metro Stations; a 2-story, 65,000 square foot commissioning facility and a 3-story parking facility located at the existing Greenbelt Rail Yard. Responsibilities include daily reporting of work activity, observation and inspection of all construction activities including earthwork, structural steel, cast-in-place concrete, pre-cast concrete, automatic train control, traction power, track work, systems integration, and site work.

Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, Ft. Belvoir, VA (US Army Corps of Engineers): $747M integrated/ design/bid/build project which includes the construction of a 1.2-million square-foot seven-story main hospital complex with (120) in-patient beds, (4) multi-story clinical buildings, central utility plant, helipad, ambulance shelter, and (2) parking garages. Responsibilities include the following:*Review, process and track all incoming and outgoing project correspondence, construction plans, shop drawings, materials submittals, record drawings and closeout documents utilizing US Army Corp of Engineers construction information management system RMS *Daily import/export of RMS submittal register data files *Participate in various briefings, i.e. construction meetings, weekly progress meetings with contractors, staff, and other construction conferences as required

Pentagon Renovation Program, Arlington, VA - DMJMH+N, Inc.: Combined these design-build projects included the renovation of areas in the Pentagon to support the 4 million sq ft Wedge 2-5 construction effort. Ancillary Projects kept the Pentagon operational at all times by relocating building occupants to swing space or temporary office space in and around the building.*Planned, coordinated, and assisted in the development of project statement of work requirements*Reviewed construction plans and specifications for operability, environmental responsibility, and quality control requirements*Enforcement of contract clauses and quality assurance inspections*Analyzed construction contractor Requests for Information (RFI), submittals, invoices and correspondence*Provided contractor Quality Control performance evaluations for award fee recommendations*Participated in various briefings, i.e. construction meetings, weekly progress meetings with contractors, staff, and other construction conferences as required*Coordinated/scheduled the shutdown of the building mechanical and electrical systems/equipment with the Pentagon Building management

Pentagon Renovation Project, Arlington, VA: $24M design-build project included the construction of a 90 in. water intake tunnel, which was micro-tunneled 600 ft. below an active Washington Area Transit Authority subway tunnel; reinforced concrete and structural steel Intake, Screen House and Outfall structures were also constructed to contain trash racks, traveling water screens and the final energy dissipation structure.*Inspected construction activities and provided daily reporting of work performed*Ensured work performed was in compliance with construction specifications, plans, referenced codes and standards *Verified drawings used in the field for reference were current*Confirmed any proposed field changes were approved and documented prior to implementation*Validated materials delivered to various jobsites were in conformity with the construction drawings, specifications and approved submittals*Informed the Project Manager of any deviation or deficiency in the work performed on the project

$5 to 9M design-build projects from Jacksonville, FL to Washington, DC which included build-out of 1,500 to 50,000 square feet of vacant warehouse space and prefabricated concrete telecommunication shelters for a nationwide fiber optic network. Responsibilities included the day-to-day construction management of the project as well as coordination with the design team, equipment vendors and the contractors.
