Supports transit technologies which includes: ITS systems (Intelligent Transportation Systems), CAD/AVL systems (Automatic Vehicle Location), fare collection systems, video surveillance systems and radio operations.Performs troubleshooting of applications used by a wide variety of end users.Supports of the operation of the ITS systems including software implementations and integrations; resolves software issues for desktop users.Provide Level 1 support of various applications, user training, supporting technology, installing and configuring equipment.Ensure external integrations adhere to SRTA policy and industry standard.Remain informed of the latest transit technologies and solutions.Technical competencies:Familiarity with ITS Technology such as CAD/AVL, fare collection systems, video surveillance systems, radio and/or mobile ticketing. Experience with basic networking, Wi-Fi configuration and firewalls.Experience with Windows Servers and Hyper-V or VMWare.Extensive knowledge of Office 365, printers, copiers and scanners.Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Migrating the 2g traffic from the LEC T1s to T1s provisioned over the existing Ethernet backhaul• Breaking down service cell sites, working with Nokia GSM and T-1s• Disabling alarms and t-1 circuits then re-activating after field techs do migrations• Responding to 20-35 requests/day, 20 minutes per request. Overseeing 15-17 different sites/systems across 5 states per day• Verifying sites, locking/unlocking, using t-1 and GSM commands

Creates Service Requests for vehicles failing the inspection process. Monitors and reports repeat offenders that exhibit identical problems on subsequent iterative inspections. Performs an inspection of the four repeater sites once per quarter and creates Service Requests for sites failing the inspection process.
