My first novel Trace will be out this month, release date May 19th. I am very happy about this and am looking forward to getting the second novel in this series published also. There will be three of them, Trace being the first and they will be stand alone novels, the crimes different, the time and location the same. Most hard boiled detective novels happen in the big cities like Chicago or New York, these take place in a mid-sized Ozark's town where my detective Max Black lives and works. As he says in one book: "It might look like a quiet, peaceful town, a good place to raise a family but that is only seen during the day, when the night comes, all of it changes as the darkness rolls in and the bad guys roll out".
