Needs Beyond Medicine’s Relief Program creates financial assistance grants for individuals undergoing cancer treatment. These grants supplement living expenses not classified as medical expenses, covering costs such as transportation, groceries, utilities, rent, and more. By providing this support, the Relief Program offers much-needed relief for adults facing the greatest fight and period of hardship in their lives.

Led all Business Development activities including recruiting, training and rebuilding development team, creating and implementing a new sales strategy, financial modeling, prospecting, product offering and positioning. Results: Hired and trained 3 new development professionals, secured agreements/joint ventures with 5 hospitals and increased pipeline from 17 to 60 active opportunities in less than 16 months.

Led mergers and acquisitions for the oncology division, including strategy and pipeline development, legal structure, and implementation planning. Results: Completed 1 merger adding approximately $1,000,000 in EBITDA.

Led Business Development activities including sales strategy, mergers & acquisitions, recruiting, financial modeling, prospecting, product offering and positioning in an effort to prepare the company for a sell. Results: Secured master agreements with 2 large oncology networks and one manufacturer adding approximately $775,000 in new revenue. Successfully sold Global Physics to Landauer Corporation.

Led new strategic priority that merged urology and oncology practices in order to provide more integrated care for prostate cancer patients and maximize practice efficiencies and financial returns. Results: Added 26 urologists and approximately $3,400,000 in EBITDA in less than 18 months, which was the fastest growth of any new specialty in company history.

Led mergers and acquisitions, established a physician retention and relations program, developed and implemented a physician education program, trained new sales team and developed marketing materials. Results: Completed 47 mergers adding approximately $6.3 million in EBITDA while establishing an industry low turnover rate of 2.6%.

Established and led the physician recruiting department including contract negotiations, management of recruiting budget, policies and procedures, marketing and advertising plan. Results: Successful recruitment of 835 physicians since 1995, representing more than half of all physicians affiliated with US Oncology and adding approximately $75,150,000 in EBITDA.

Managed the recruitment team including hiring, training, supervision, development of department goals, financial planning, marketing and advertising plans

Represented physicians in the market, including needs assessment, interview training, decision factors and career consultation.
