Create and manage Microsoft Access Database to track and report various departments within Nexteer. Currently managing databases for Engineering, Material Cost Savings, Human Resources, Finance, and the Plants.Along with maintaining the Microsoft Access Databases I am also the department Cost Estimator. In this role I collaborate with the Purchasing Department and the Manufacturing Plants to prepare the Cost information for changes to our products.Also I am the Change Review Board Coordinator and Distribute and manage the meetings where changes are discussed and reviewed.

Designed and implemented several databases to track information for the columns department. One database was a MCIP Savings database that has been tracking cost savings projects for the last 10 years successfully. A CAD Assignment database to track the open drawing changes in the system helping with resource issues, this database is being used in two different departments. An Engineering database that tracks all changes to programs from start to plant floor and offers the engineers a way to manage their time effectively. Implemented a Spontaneous Award database to track all awards given across the division and report to the Human Resource department monthly. Also have designed and managed a database for Engineering Permits, PPAP's, Department Employees, and Department computer deployment. Recently developed a database to track and report sales goals with revenue for the company for a 10 year forecast.

Worked with the Quality Assurance group at Delphi Steering tracking and producing report's on the PRR system. Reports had to be done in a timely manner for the PRR complaints had to be answered by the correct plant within 24 hours.

Designed five Access Databases for Saginaw Delphi Steering to track and supply reports for Delphi Engineers. The two databases that pertain to the Quality department are the Half Shaft warranty database and the DFMEA information system. For the Columns department, I created a tracking system for PPAP dates and issues along with a tracking system for engineering permits. For the Electrical group it was a tracking system for SCRR's. These are internal changes to products that are in progress.Timeline Coordinator - Attend all engineering meetings for each project line and discuss the timeline changes and its effects on future schedules. Coordinate changes with timeline creators and check for accuracy on returned timelines. Create timelines for running changes on a project and update using Microsoft Project 98.DFMEA (Design Failure Modes & Effective Analysis) Coordinator - Facilitate and coordinate meetings, update records, distribute reports, and track programs.PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) Coordinator - Work with engineer's at Delphi Steering Systems, Column's Department and Plant personnel by tracking PPAP submittal dates and assuring completion.Expeditor - Received drawings and CAD files from customers to coordinate with machine houses to have the parts built in a timely manner according to the guidelines set by the customer. I also controlled all pricing, quoting and following through with customer for satisfaction.

As store manager it was my responsibility to open and close the store. Controlled the repair flow and scheduled the service technicians for on-site service calls. Sold individual components and complete computer systems to customers after determining what the customer required to perform the functions they needed. During slow periods, I also performed entry-level computer repairs and new computer builds. Provided support to our customers over the phone as much as possible. Trouble shot computers for estimates to the customers and supported local businesses with service.

The Company manufactured cabinets for hospitals and schools across the Eastern United States. I was the representative that contacted our customer's after they had received delivery of their product. I would handle damage claims and send the customer a replacement within 72 hours. Sometimes this would require the replacement being built by myself in the shop. This required me to travel to job sites, and estimate the damaged cost for insurance claims. I designed and built Plexiglas side cabinets, pull boards and display's of different hardware to be used for marketing tools. Annually, I organized and conducted a Dealer Meeting where we would introduce any new product, marketing tools, or design and answer any concerns that our customer's had concerning our company procedures. I worked in the shipping / receiving, engineering and estimating departments before assuming the responsibility of Customer Service Manager. I also worked for six months on the shop floor acquainting myself with procedures and building techniques.

During my time at Sears I have sold large ticket items in the Brand Central department.This department handled televisions, VCR's, stereos, cameras, vacuum cleaners, sewing machines, computers, and office equipment. I listened to the customer's needs, and presented which item would benefit their needs.
