• Detect, respond, and remediate IDS alerts, malware infections, and other information security incidents • Monitor threat intelligence from paid and open source feeds and determine if IOC’s were seen in the environment or if it posed a business impact• Develop, prototype, and implement information security use cases• Perform forensics using tools like Carbon Black Response and BrowsingHistoryView• Subject Matter Expert for determining risks of detecting and preventing threats• Document incident response procedures and POC evaluations• Assist in security tool engineering to reduce false positive alerts and increase tool effectiveness

• Monitor and investigate alerts triggered using network and user behavioral tools• Analyze potential phishing campaigns and mitigate any threats discovered• Gather intelligence through security bulletins and intelligence sharing forums to stay informed on possible attacks and vulnerabilities.

• Monitor network traffic by devices using Stealthwatch software• Manage and monitor enterprise workstations using McAfee ePO• Discover and mitigate potential network and computer security threats and vulnerabilities• Continuously research current events and security bulletins for possible attacks

• Install and configure Red Hat Linux servers and workstations using custom kickstarts• Maintain and update multiple networks of Red Hat Linux servers and workstations• Troubleshoot network and web application issues experienced by customers• Perform research projects assigned depending on customer needs

After graduating from Georgia Tech, I accepted an offer with Booz Allen Hamilton as a consultant in information technology. As a consultant, I work on providing, implementing, and supporting solutions for clients.
