PROJECTS :Capstone Project for Kenzie Academy | November 2021 ● Implemented my knowledge of public APIs to pull data and used it to make a Jeopardy style quiz game that keeps the player’s score during said game ● Created input for forms that reads and analyzes user input data ● Compare the user input data to the API data to see if input is correct ● Utilized a variety of skills such as fetch requests, promises and DOM manipulation in order to bring the quiz game to life JavaScript In the Wild project for Kenzie Academy | October 2021 ● Imported code from a third party library using a geolocation Api to pull pictures from wherever the location was set and display them on the webpage ● Used asynchronous code to make certain functions happen when i need them to ● Worked with more APIs specifically a geolocation API JavaScript and the DOM project for Kenzie Academy | October 2021 ● Learned how to manipulate the Dom and used Javascript to create things usually created in HTML in this case I created a random dice roll application which not only rolled the dice a set amount of times but also recorded the result and grouped them in the right column based on what number was rolled ● Learned how to create buttons, forms, and inputs ● Used browser events, navigated the DOM tree using Javascript ● Used CSS selectors to select either individual or a group of elements in order to customize the project with colors and designs to make it look better Oregon Trail Part 2 Project for Kenzie Academy | August 2021 ● Used object oriented programing to move object prototypes into a class ● Created child classes that uses their inherited properties and methods ● created a class representing an object with properties and methods
