Started as QC Shift technician, was moved to QC Day technician, then promoted to current position as QC Lab Specialist. Serve as Environmental Lead, Hygiene Lead & Training Coordinator. Maintain DOT/IATA certification for shipment of HazMat samples. Develop methods and troubleshoot method problems on GCs, LCs, Autotitrators, and Karl Fischer. Initiated and maintain plant LIMS system. Review all analysis performed in QC Lab daily for process samples and shipment samples. Order all supplies for the QC Lab, prepare all standards and spikes, and maintain all consent orders & required records retention for the lab.

Analyses of all materials being used in the building of naval ships to assure they met military specifications, i.e. Lube oils, hydraulic oils, boiler waters, paints, metals, drinking water, fuels, etc.Environmental testing, i.e. waste waters, drinking water, bacteriological testing, etc.

Monitored growth, diagnosed illness, & treated hybrid smallmouth bass populations. Aided in fish nursery duties & harvesting of fish.
