Upon becoming Nation Treasurer, responsibilities for Chicago moved to Jim Burnham. The protection of our nation’s infrastructure cannot be accomplished by the federal government alone. It requires coordinated action from numerous stakeholders – including government, the private sector, law enforcement and concerned citizens.Each InfraGard chapter is geographically linked with an FBI Field Office, providing all stakeholders immediate access to experts from law enforcement, industry, academic institutions and other federal, state and local government agencies. The Cohesive team were among the original founds of CloudCamp, and sponsored the first meeting. Today, The Cohesive team are the organizers of the two longest running camps, Chicago CloudCamp, and London CloudCamp.

CohesiveFT is the incubator for several companies including Rabbit Technologies Limited (sold RABBITMQ to VMware), Elastic Server LLC, and Cohesive Networks LLC.

Borland Software acquired Bedouin a Chicago based SaaS company which was the first ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) service provider. The service was productized and integrated with the Starbase product line, a successful acquisition driven by Dwight's efforts.

While at O'Connor Associates, which was acquired by The Swiss Bank Corporation, Dwight role evolved to become the person responsible for Infra Architecture, System Engineering, Network Engineering-Operations, Technical Security, and Global Data Center Operations for Trading and Markets Divisions of what today is known as UBS. (One of the greatest lessons learned: Mass market retail chips (Intel / ADM) eventually eliminate all the expensive custom stuff. First to fall was storage, then processing, and now networking.)

Joining the team just as the CBOE emerged from the research department of the BOT, this was Dwight's first exposure to the challenges of a start-up facing the inertia and monopoly power of the 'owners' of the securities industry. From the guy, to EVP Dwight was lucky to be schooled by the truly greats in the business.
